Scott Allan is a versatile musician who plays in a wide variety of musical groups in and around the Seattle area. He has played in rock, funk, jazz, and pop groups on a variety of instruments including: voice, piano, trombone, ukulele, drum set, and bass. While attending Pierce Community College and Central Washington University, he won the Lionel Hampton soloist competition twice as a vocalist, and once as a trombonist as well as various regional and national ensemble awards. He has worked as a cruise ship musician playing in production orchestras in the past. Scott has been teaching for 20 years, and prides himself on finding a healthy balance between fun and ambition in his lessons.
